2015 was a busy year. A lot has happened since January 1st and I can barely remember all it. I definitely can't remember all of it. I didn't go to a foreign country and experience lifechanging adventure but I did stay in Boston and that was enough to keep me on my toes. I continued my education, spent nine out of twelve months at Fenway Park with my part-time job in The Boston Red Sox marketing department, and held two internships (Social Boston Sports and the MIT Division of Student Life). But my favorite part was my photography.
This past year I didn't get to photograph as much as I wanted to but I did learn a lot from my time with Emerson Channel Sports, Social Boston Sports, and so far with MIT. I've improved my skills in photography immensely since I first picked up a camera in November 2013. In 2015 I got to shadow April K Photography at a wedding, contribute photographs to the book Writers Without Margins, photograph my friends, photograph strangers, photograph student athletes (for Emerson and MIT), and experience over and over again why I love to pick up my camera. 2015 was a year filled with a lot of smiling people (and sports. So. Much. Sports).
So what is my New Year's resolution? Keep picking up my camera (and survive my last semester of undergrad).
Here are some of my favorite photos (and people) from 2015. You can see more of my life moments on my instagram.
