For someone who was born and raised in New England, I had never been to Maine until recently! I had such a relaxing weekend exploring Ogunquit, York, and Wells and eating lots of great food, apple picking, and a walk along the Marginal Way to Perkins Cove.
Maine reminded me a lot of home; a quiet place in the off-season that has far too much traffic during busy season. If I can’t make it to Nantucket when I need a break from city life, Maine is my new go-to stop.
